We are thrilled to announce that Joel Bregin, one of our very own Lift Truck Technicians at Ring Power's St. Pete location, recently secured an impressive second-place finish at the Mitsubishi Logisnext America's Master Technician Challenge. This prestigious event, held at the Logisnext Training Center in Houston, TX, brought together the best forklift master technicians from across North and South America.
The Mitsubishi Logisnext America's Master Technician Challenge is a two-day material handling competition designed to showcase the exceptional skills and knowledge of forklift technicians specializing in material handling products. It is a vital component of promoting ongoing forklift technician training within the Logisnext dealer network, and participation is open to all dealer technicians holding a Master Technician Certification.
Throughout the challenging competition, Joel demonstrated his material handling expertise by competing against 19 other forklift master technicians. The meticulously designed stations assessed the participants' proficiency in handling a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, stackers, and more. These stations tested not only their technical skills but also their in-depth knowledge of Mitsubishi Logisnext's diverse range of equipment.
In addition to the hands-on challenges, the competition included written tests to further evaluate the technicians' theoretical knowledge of material handling principles and forklift operation. This comprehensive approach ensures that the winners excel not only in practical applications but also possess a deep understanding of the underlying principles and intricacies of the forklifts they service.
