Ring Power's very own Northern Hydraulic Sales Specialist, Dan Jung, recently made waves in the Caterpillar community as one of the 48 global finalists for the first annual Ignite training events at Conexpo in Las Vegas. Out of the thousands of participants in the program, Dan was one of only twelve finalists in his job role category globally, making this a significant achievement for both him and Ring Power.
The Ignite program was a points-based rewards and recognition program for the aftermarket sales force, which started in January of 2022 with over 2,500 participants. Through exclusive eLearning courses and incentives, individuals were able to increase their product knowledge, apply it to day-to-day sales activities, and boost their sales results. By December 2022, 637 participants had successfully completed all program requirements, and in February 2023, 48 global finalists were named, including Dan Jung.
These finalists from around the globe came together in Las Vegas from March 13-15, 2023, to attend The Legends Experience, a 3-day event recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of the finalists. During the event, the four first-ever global Legends were announced, and each one had exceeded all basic program requirements, achieving all points, attaining the highest assessment scores, completing all bonus activities, and being top earners in their job role.
Dan Jung was already recognized as one of the top twelve finalists in his job role category, making him a standout performer in his field. His dedication to continued learning and commitment to customer service have helped him achieve this prestigious recognition. The leadership of CISD, Caterpillar's aftermarket sales and rewards and recognition program, praised the participants and emphasized their role in achieving the company's goal of double-digit growth.
