Tarpon Springs Police Recognize Ring Power Employee

On Jan. 13, at 5 a.m., Rollie Watson (Tampa Heavy Equipment Service Advisor) came to the assistance of Sgt. Scott “Oz” Osarczuk of the Tarpon Springs Police Department. Osarczuk was en route to participate in services honoring fallen Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton and Orange County Sheriff Deputy Norman Lewis when he experienced a flat tire on his department-issued SUV. Already in his dress uniform, Osarczuk was not in position to change the tire himself. Watson, on his way to work, happened upon the situation at a convenience store just off Interstate 4 in Plant City and quickly stepped up to assist the sergeant and ensure he was able to make it to the fallen officers’ services.

On Tuesday, April 4, nearly 3 months later, Sgt. Oz thanked Rollie in front of a group of his coworker's at Ring Power's Riverview facility. Tampa Bay's WFTS was onsite to capture the moment. Watch the video here.
