This summer, the headquarters of Ring Power in St. Augustine is alive with the energy of a group of talented students from Flagler College. These students are the proud recipients of the Ringhaver Family Endowed Scholarship, a program initiated in 2005 to support the educational aspirations of Ring Power employees’ dependents.
The scholarship generously covers full tuition costs and can be renewed annually for up to four years, provided the students maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and remain in good academic standing. Beyond financial support, the scholarship creates a meaningful connection between the students and Ring Power Corporation. A distinctive aspect of the scholarship is the requirement for recipients to complete a summer internship at Ring Power, offering them priceless hands-on experience and the chance to explore future career paths within the company.
Currently, there are five scholarship recipients interning at Ring Power. Each intern brings their own set of skills and fresh perspectives to their respective departments:
- Amanda, whose parent works in Phoenix Products Service, is majoring in Psychology and is expected to graduate in 2026. She is interning across the IT, Legal, and Parts departments.
- Kylie, with a parent in Power Systems Rental Sales, is pursuing an English degree with a 2025 graduation date and is gaining experience in the Ring Investments department.
- Westin, whose parent is a Transport Driver, is studying Business Administration and is set to graduate in 2026. He is currently learning the ropes in the Accounting department.
- Dylan, with a parent in CRS Sales Administration, is a Graphic Design major with a 2027 graduation on the horizon. She is applying her creativity in the Marketing and Purchasing departments.
- Sabrina, whose parent manages Property & Environmental matters, is also a Psychology major and is expected to graduate in 2027. She is interning in The Cat Rental Store and Training departments.
These internships are not only an excellent opportunity for the students to gain practical work experience but also serve as a talent pipeline for Ring Power, fostering the development of future professionals.
We applaud the achievements of our student interns and eagerly anticipate their continued growth and success, both at Ring Power and in their future endeavors.
