Phoenix Products, a premier manufacturer of custom generator enclosures, base tanks, aboveground fuel tanks and fuel delivery systems, gave customers the chance to tour the company’s new, state-of the-art Jacksonville, Florida facility at an Open House, Wednesday, Dec. 1.
Construction on the new facility began in September 2020, when the existing 1920s era office building was demolished to make way for the new administrative building. The previous office was in poor condition and no longer met the needs of Phoenix’s growing business.
The new, 5,400 square feet tank and enclosure manufacturing facility benefits customers by bringing all the administrative office departments under one roof and allows Phoenix Products to showcase their capabilities in the large, updated conference room. Parking, which was extremely limited at the old building, was also greatly expanded to accommodate more customers.
Approximately 100 customers attended the Open House, where they had the opportunity to tour the new administrative building, walk the plant and learn first-hand about the enclosure engineering and manufacturing process.
“Everyone loved the new building and the cleanliness and layout of the plant,” said Phoenix Products General Manager Cliff Mills. “They were impressed to learn about the breadth of products and services Phoenix Products offers and excited to learn more about the manufacturing process. We were very pleased with the turnout and feedback. The entire Phoenix Products team is excited about the future and looking forward to a great 2022!”
