Tampa’s Heavy Equipment Major Component Rebuild Center recently achieved silver certification from The Timken Company, receiving a plaque and banner as a source of pride for employees and clear evidence to customers that the MCRC facility is “Timken Bearing Certified.”
The certification process is done in conjunction with Timken’s bearing maintenance training programs. Prior to training, a Timken engineer conducts a rigorous evaluation of the processes and equipment used to store, remove, install and maintain bearings. Following the training, the Timken engineer returns for the post-training audit.
Being designated Bearing Certified means that the MCRC adheres to the highest standards in bearing service and confirms that solid processes are followed and the appropriate equipment is in place to ensure proper bearing maintenance.
