The California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) has certified the full line of Phoenix Products day tanks for hospital and critical care installations throughout the State. OSHPD certification ensures that urgent care patient facilities in California will be able to function during and after an earthquake.
To earn this certification, fuel storage tanks must pass a series of rigorous tests performed by an ISO-accredited laboratory and sanctioned by a California-licensed structural engineer. Although OSHPD certification can be obtained on a project-to-project basis, “pre-certification” will save customers the time and money it usually takes to get a day tank approved for a particular project.
All Phoenix Products day tanks up to 1000 gallons will be labeled with OSHPD approval number OSP-0187-10.
