The General 65’ Digger Derrick
Terex® is the first company to build a hydraulic digger derrick. Until the late 1980s, utility crews had to bring several pieces of equipment to the work site: a crane for material handling, a smaller derrick for drilling holes, an aerial device for personnel. Now, the General, with its increased boom length and additional lift capacity, manages the entire process, eliminating the need for larger crews and multiple machines. The General is the largest digger derrick in the world.
